I’m very excited to announce the #WeNeedtoTalk tour (not related in anyway to the TERF tour currently spewing their rubbish around) with the brilliant Agnes Török!

Agnes’ new book We Need to Talk is out now and available from Burning Eye or Agnes herself. 10% of sales go to women’s charity (Burning Eye have chosen SARSAS). The collection is all about vital topics of conversation that we should be having in the wake of #metoo. It is a manifesto for change and solidarity with survivors of sexual assault.

If I could write just one poem about sexual violence
it would be this:
Always.
Believe.
The victim.

I will be joining Agnes for this tour, doing poems from Better Watch Your Mouth, some new bits and testing out snippets from my show Riot Mouth. We’ll be up and down the country with five confirmed dates:

19th Feb// BRISTOL

Agnes will be launching We Need to Talk at Milk Poetry, The Room Above in Bristol (Details) – she will be joined by Jackie Juno and there is an slam to get involved with as well.

22nd Feb// OXFORD

Agnes and I will be joined by the brilliant Tina Selderholm for a Burning Eye first showcase at Oxford Waterstones. It is a ticketed event so get yours in advance here.

26th Feb// EDINBURGH

on 26th we’ll be at the Audacious Women’s Festival in Edinburgh, closing out the event with a showcase hosted by Agnes, featuring musicians and spoken word artists. All the details and programme can be found here.

28th Feb// LONDON

Very very excited to be performing at That’s What She Said at last! London friends must come to this! Details and tickets.
