Bridget Hart (they/them) is a queer, working class writer, performer and creative producer.
Bridget’s poems and short stories are a quietly heartbreaking look into the lives of working people, queer platonic love and a dry, witty take on survival and solidarity.
In 2017 they released the debut pamphlet Better Watch Your Mouth with Burning Eye Books. Their second collection Chewing Gum is a queer reimagining of characters from Grease and Grease 2 and is out now with Small Press Books.
Their work has also been published by Queerlings, Comma Press, Bluebird Anthology, Late Britain, Untitled Writers, and Ink, Sweat and Tears.

Performance
Bridget has been performing for over a decade at some of the UK’s biggest festivals; Boomtown, Shambala, Edinburgh Fringe as well as stages at LOUD Women, Tolpuddle Martyrs and Anarchist Bookfair London.

Bridget’s solo show Riot Mouth storms through the early 2000s punk scene, before streaming and social media, taking audiences along for the ride as they desperately search for music by women.
